Today was an exciting day for me, but ended in total disbelief after being exposed to the tragic aftermath of the earthquake that hit Haiti, my father's home country. As a Haitian-American, I must say this particular natural disaster really affected me and my loved ones. National coverage over the proceeding impact really put alot of things into perspective for me, like how we take so much for granted everyday. For example, yesterday I bought 2 coats and a 3 scarves to add to a closet full of coats and scarves, then I had the audacity to be upset about not being able to purchase another coat while children in Haiti do not have adequate water to drink. My priorities are completely diluted. It is definitely time for me to think about what is most important in life and that is not 3 coats. Haiti needs all they help they can get, I implore you to please take out the time to Thank God For Every Blessing Bestowed Upon You, then give what you can to help this beautiful island in such devastating time., and go to the CNN websites to find many more to donate to.

I finally bought a new camera to give my blog a more sophisticated sharper appeal. The camera was a  steal, I went to a local store and told them my vision, the sales associate led me to a used  2008 Cannon Rebel DSLR . It was then that I realized was my destiny.
