Working Girl

Trying to climb the corporate ladder can be challenging, but organizing your wardrobe in a manner that allows you to be fashionable and professional on the journey it takes to be successful can be more overwhelming. This is why I have decided to dedicate a portion of my blog to the emerging professional. I feel like no one really told me how I could be professional and still remain true to my style and tastes. Style and fashion is a very intricate part of my lifestyle. I think about fashion all the time. So, it is extremely important to me that I am able to incorporate fashion into my work enviroment, no matter the kind of  work I am doing. I am not perfect and I am still figuring it out along the way, but I think I am doing well so far. My blog is a document of my lifestyle, so follow me through this journey while I try to climb the corporate ladder and remain, youthful, stylish and professsional. Don't be afraid to pick up a few tips along the way.

I love this Ann Taylor sleeveless button down. I have been on the search for this top for several months now. I have another idea in mind of how I want to wear it very soon. I cannot wait to put the outfit together. This top is so practical and you can style it so many ways. It can be styled with a necklace or without. It can be styled with a skirt, pants or shorts. You can tuck it in or leave it out. In this case I really wish this top did not wrinkle as much, but I'll make sure to use starch next time. The sweep hem on this top is crazy hot!

I bought this necklace at Chicos. I had shopped in Chicos before because it's said to be for more "seasoned" women. Well their jewelry is exquisite and can be worn by anyone who knows what style is. I plan on purchasing one of their denim tops really soon too. The price on the top just needs to go down. I am tired of people being scared to go in stores because they don't want to look too old. If you know how to style it then you will look amazing. REALITY CHECK, WE ALL AGE, SO GET OVER IT!
