Blackberry Jam and Goat Cheese Ricecake


I went grocery shopping and decide to get creative with my grocery list. I think part of the reason that I am never consistent with a healthy diet is because I get bored with the typical healthy foods that most fitness gurus and health nuts suggest we yo-yo dieters should consume. Well I am not in the business of being bored when it comes to sight, smell and taste. I need all of  these things to be present when I am eating. This is a little recipe that I put together. It is the perfect snack. I am not a fan of counting calories, so I won't be doing that in this post. These food items are very healthy in consumption and portion control is really the key when you are trying to maintain or loose your figure. I hope you decide to try this recipe out; it certainly was a delicious snack.

Ingredients: Rice Cakes, Goat Cheese and Fresh Blackberries
1.Spread the goat cheese evenly on the rice cake
2.Place the blackberries on the rice cakee
3.Lightly mash the black berries into the goat cheese maintaining somewhat of a lumpy jam texture.
4.Spread the jam evenly onto the rice cake
5. Enjoy
