It took me a while to get past my teenage make-up offenders. It wasn't until I was 25 that I really learned the role that foundation and concealer played in a full face make-up look. However, I was still treading thin ice in the make-up DON'T S group home. It wasn't until I was 28 that I really learned how to get the best use out of my foundation and concealer. I attribute most of my education to the following:
- LONG HOURS OF STALKING YOUTUBE BEAUTY GURUS/INFLUENCERS
- WATCHING MY FRIEND, SHINNICE, APPLY HER MAKEUP EVERYTIME WE GOT PREPARED TO HAVE A NIGHT OUT ON THE TOWN. (WHICH BY THE WAY IS STILL ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS TO DO WHEN I'M IN HER PRESENCE)
- PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE
- TRIAL AND ERROR WITH DIFFERENT MAKE-UP BRANDS ( THIS IS HOW YOU LEARN WHAT WORKS THE BEST FOR YOUR SKIN AND COMPLEXION)
There is so much to learn about make-up and I am still learning as the days go by. But, I am totally up for the challenge.I have decided to create a Beginners Make-up Series. I want this series to fill in any gaps that you may have about the basic techniques of make-up application. I hope that my latest post and video inspires you to feel more confident when applying your foundation.
